Save the date! iBBA / LEARN! symposium ‘Motivation: from science to application? June 22nd, 9.30 - 18.30, Hortus Zuidas
Motivation is at the core of human behaviour. It is studied from many different angles in the iBBA and LEARN! institutes (such as in sports and in education), and is intrinsically relevant to societal application. With this symposium we provide a selection of current directions within motivation science and societal applications. This way, we help scientists and developers connect beyond their field and learn about obstacles on the road to application.
Keynote speakers are Ben Cowley (University of Helsinki) on Flow Theory, Michael Bas (&Ranj) on the application of motivation research in serious games, and Marjolein Lanzing (UvA) on the ethics of manipulative design.
