On April the 19th, LEARN! hosted a research seminar with dr. Neha Miglani titled ‘Pedagogies of well-being: Unpacking Social Emotional Learning in practice’.
During the seminar, dr. Miglani presented her most recent project on education well-being, where she explores how well-being in contemporary cultures has become an 'educational' concern. She aimed to answer the pressing questions of how to learn to be well and more importantly, how to teach others to be well. Based on her social emotional learning (SEL) initiative in Delhi, she demonstrated both the promise and dangers of SEL initiatives in schools. Moreover, she drew out implications for relevant policy in different contexts.
