On October 5th, Prof. Rashmi Kusurkar delivered her inaugural lecture on the occasion of the acceptance of the chair Inclusion and Motivation in Health Professions Education, at the Faculty of Medicine of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. 

In her lecture, prof. Kusurkar discussed the concepts of motivation and inclusion, how they are intricately related, and how and why this relationship is important in education. She explored the ABC of Inclusion and Motivation and why they are important for students, teachers, patients and the society.
