Governance processes for a robust educational data ecosystem

Professor Melanie Ehren contributed to the European Schoolnet's Data4Learning webinar series on governance and in particular the processes for a robust educational data ecosystem. The exchange with Kruakae Pothong, and Barbara Wasson addressed questions such as: How can we ensure that a robust ecosystem is set in place to oversee the increasing use of data in education? Why is it important to ensure the exchange and interoperability of data in education systems? How can we design suitable governance processes for such an ecosystem? How do we best define the infrastructure to be put in place? Who should own the data and what are the actors to be involved in such a process?
