Jettie Vreugdenhil

I am a part-time PhD student in the team of my supervisor Rashmi Kusurkar: Research in Education. As a senior nurse educator I support practice learning and the learning climate in Amsterdam UMC/VUmc.

My research topic is clinical reasoning of nursing students in practice. I found it very exciting to step into the role of researcher in the environment I know so well: the hospital and nursing academies. And my network gets larger and larger!

Right now I am half-way through my promotion trajectory. In the spare time my husband and I ‘coach’ our two grownup kids, I sing in a choir and love to scull or to hike, and enjoy art exhibitions.
