On December 7th, Prof. Dr. Monique Volman gave a seminar on inequality in education based on insights from the Educational Research Lab Amsterdam. She discussed how teachers and researchers collaboratively investigate how teachers can be part of the solution to educational inequality by having high expectations of their students, improving their language skills, and building on students’ multilingual skills and funds of knowledge.
